Hunters recent first time buyers day boasted a number of success factors, but one in particular stands out.
Hunters have been in conversation with a prospective seller for the past 6 months and due to personal circumstances and decisions regarding the property to buy, these vendors have held off coming to market.
In the week prior to the event a new property was taken on the market. This instruction came from a local competitor who had marketed the property for the previous 8 weeks. As a result of the seller speaking to a Brighton Agent he was recommended to the Hunters Team. Having prepared details it was recognised that this four bedroom house on the Folders Lane development ideally suited the buyer. A valuation was conducted on their two bedroom property, followed by a viewing of the new house. It was a definate match and they were convinced to market their property, prior top the first time buyers day event.
Low and behold an applicant through the event viewed the property and offered. Sale was agreed. Our vendors then placed a successful offer on the four bedroom new instruction. He has now had the opportunity to buy his chosen property in Brighton. All very satisfied customers, as from instructions to both sales, was less than 8 days. And yes, our first time buyers are very pleased to be taking the first step onto the housing ladder.
