Our mission statement
Hunters Independent Estate Agency is committed to providing a first class
property service with an environmental conscience. We are proud to be
different from the rest of the pack. We believe that client satisfaction is
paramount; we take a dynamic approach to marketing properties of all
shapes and sizes; we provide exclusive services to help you on your way; we
act with integrity at all times; and we aim to put back into the environment
what we take out of it. Above it all, we provide a truly personal service.
How it all began…

Hunters was set up in 1999 by Jon Clayson, me.
My dream was to create an estate agency unlike any other. An agency with
a personal approach, designed to give clients a first class, stress free
experience. I believe the business should make a minimal impact on the
environment and should take positive action to renew resources.
Disappointed by my own experiences with property agents, I wanted to offer
a service that was set apart from the rest, and truly practiced what it
preached. Our emphasis is on creating an open and honest relationship with
all of our clients, without exception. I want this to be a place where each
client receives a service tailored to their needs. Where individuals have
names, not numbers.
All these years later and Hunters is a reality: a thriving business with the same
principles that we set out with. We attribute our success to word-of-mouth
recommendation and this has become our favourite way to meet new
clients. We are proud that a high level of personal service has been made
possible by adopting the latest technologies, best agency practices, high
quality staff and operating with business integrity.
Our distinctly different approach has been recognised. In 2002 we were
presented with the title of "Best Local Agent" which came with an invitation
to join the prestigious Home Sale Network: the only selected agent in mid
Sussex..
Since our inception, we have continued to evolve. We strive to pre-empt our
clients' needs by introducing new initiatives and technologies on a regular
basis. We are happy with our progress so far and look forward to weaving lots
of new ideas into our future.
My team
As a generalisation, estate agents do not have
a good reputation. Hunters aim is to redress the
balance.
Each member of the Hunters team is handpicked with care; and many have
come from careers outside of property. Instead we search for individuals with
personal integrity, lashings of enthusiasm, personality, common sense and a
desire to put the client first and foremost. The result is a refreshing mix of
personalities and backgrounds. Each one shares our vision and is dedicated
to offering the best possible service to every one of our clients, regardless of
whether you are buying, selling, letting or looking for financial advice.
We may still wear suits, but you can guarantee that we are like no other
agents and we guarantee we'll make the experience as stress free and
painless as possible...even fun! We are here to get you what you want.
